Great customer care, quick appointments when needed. Managed to sign up for the GP online which was a quick and easy process and seamless transition from old GP. Nurse I had in my first appointment was friendly and professional and appointment was on time. Lovely clean waiting room also clear signpost for entrance and treatment rooms handy as well for new joiners to the surgery and car parking available right outside.

Because my doctor has been fab with me these past few months with my mental health. Without her support, I wouldnt know where I would be. However, its hard getting appointments with my doctor unless she books them for me when she phones me. I dont really pike talking to other doctors as they dont really know me and my history. Whereas mu doctor has been with me for 20 or so years so knows me well.

Most of the time, the receptionists are impatient. And when I have to use my phone's translator, they give me a dirty look, or they leave me aside and they attend to someone else. I am disappointed. Sometimes they make me call one place and another and then they don't solve anything for me. I am a carer, my two children have an autistic diagnosis and they always give me a but or inconvenience for each appointment I ask for. I don't ask for them just because. I ask for them because something happens and as a mother I want my children to be well and have the right to their doctor. Sometimes they have denied me an appointment. I have spoken and written to please interpret from Spanish at my appointments and I don't always have an interpreter. Sometimes I have to remind them of the interpreter. It is not necessary to be face to face, it is always possible by phone and it is easier for everyone. Please the family doctor should also be more patient, more empathy.

On this occassion, both the receptionist was kind, helpful in making the appointment, and Stella when checking in, but mostly Dr.Stiff, whom i know over runs but gives u 6 mins if you need 6 mins rather than 5. I feel seen, heard, understood, and not dismissed. I really am against phone consultations as u never know when exactly u will get a call, so probably miss it, and then takes 2 or 3 attempts, then u get told well come in i need to see you. BUT, i think there is nothing better than seeing ur own dr, or whoever u request. Face to face, is best, they can see and spot other factors. I dont get the question of this survey, would i recommend u, yes, except you cant go to any drs surgery, you Have To go to ur local one, unlike schools where u can choose.

Govt, restraints on Healthcare has made the services provided a joke. Your in pain and theyvmakenyou wait 2 weeks for an appointment, if you arrive ten minutes late, they cancel your appointment and are just happy to let you wait in pain longer, the whole system is comical. Staff at Strawberry Hill are very good, but the system has them boxed in so badly the it diminishes the quality of service.

A quick, courteous and helpful response. A brilliant telephone system where my call was answered immediately, even though it was after 8am. I was given the option to request a call back (maintaining my 21st position in the queue) or stay on the line. I chose the call-back and was contacted 30 minutes later by reception and was able to book a quick convenient appointment. The doctor was brilliant as always and recommended test to help with a diagnosis. Thank you, Strawberry Hill!

Everyone has a horror story about this surgery. Lost tests. Having to chase them after they forget to contact you. Missed diagnoses. Being forced to publicity discuss your medical issues with the receptionist. Them removing the ability to message the surgery. Etc. The place isn't fit for purpose.
